• Excelsior Sauvignon Blanc: The nose is complex with passion fruit, grapefruit and ripe fig aromas. The palate is fruity with a zesty acidity.
• Excelsior Caitlyn Rosé: This rose has blueberry notes on the nose, whilst the palate is ripe and juicy, with a nice and fresh acidity.
• Excelsior Viognier: Subtle flavours of lemon and peaches linger on a complex palate with a full-bodied elegance that makes this a wine of substance.

FEATURE OF THE WEEK: Excelsior Wine Estate
The De Wet family have farmed at Excelsior Estate in the Robertson Wine Valley since 1859 when Koos de Wet settled & began clearing the veld of the Little Karoo.
Koos de Wet was a direct descendant of Jacobus de Wet, an official of the Dutch East India Company who landed in Cape Town in 1697 and made planting vines a priority. He bought a large farm in Stellenbosch and later earned the distinction of being one of the first wine makers in Cape Town and the Southern hemisphere.
Most of the de Wet family eventually settled in the Worcester area but Koos de Wet came to Robertson and established himself at Excelsior Estate where now, around 320 years later, the family still run the farm.
With a beautiful nose of white peach and citrus blosssoms, this Hoog en Laag Chardonnay by Mont Blois Wine Estate is a soft, well-rounded wine with a grapefruit and almond palate followed by a nutty aftertaste.
