This wine has the typical Chenin Blanc characters and flavours of fruit, honey, quince and grasses.

A great wine to enjoy with roasted root vegetables or, chicken pie with a mushroom and cream sauce.

The 2020 Pinotage is fruit driven and made in a style to accentuate the origin of the varietal (Cinsaut and Pinot Noir).  The nose reflects an abundance of berry, and red fruits which continue on the palate.  Slight oak nuances complement the flavours, but do not dominate.

A traction of the wine was aged in oak barrels for 4 months

The Shiraz went from a stainless steel tank into French oak barrels, where it matured for 12 months. You will find blackcurrant, savoury and spiciness on the nose. It is a full-bodied wine with fine tannins that is in good balance with the acidity.

It is ideal to serve with oxtail, venison and pungent cheese.

This is a full-bodied, complex wine with excellent fruit and wood integration. Lots of work in the vineyard and minimal interference in the cellar allow this wine to express its terroir to the fullest. An expressive nose that is rich in citrus aromas and well complemented by the spicy, toasted oak notes derived from the barrel fermentation. The palate is rich and creamy and together with a firm acidity makes for a lingering finish.

The Limited Release Chardonnay 2023, displays an aroma of a lot of citrus , especially lime and grapefruit flavours that carry through to the pallet. On the pallet, the wine is crisp and fresh with a distinct flinty finish.

The French oak used to mature the wine for 7 months is well integrated and supports the fruit but also delivers a smooth rounded mouthfeel.

Calcrete Chardonnay is only found in the limestone rich appellation between Bonnievale and Robertson. Terroir of arid, broken shale rock of ancient petrified maritime deposits. Calcrete Chardonnay defines this region with its crystalline minerality, a taste of wet stone and almost maritime sea spray, saline palate and oyster shell minerality.
