Matured for 12 months in older 225- and 300-litre barrels. Red and black berries, floral perfume, fynbos and a little undergrowth on the nose. Medium bodied with fresh acidity fine tannins. Balanced and lightly dry on the finish.This red wine is made using only whole bunches of grapes, fermented, and aged for 10 months in a mix of 3000-liter foudres, concrete tanks, and older French oak barrels. After being bottled without fining and with minimal filtration, it undergoes an additional 18 months of maturation in the bottle before being released. While it can be enjoyed now, it is likely to develop greater complexity and become even more enjoyable over the next ten years or so.

Blend: 71% Syrah, 17% Grenache, 8% Carignan, 4% Cinsault
