Kleinhoekkloof Merlot 2020

This wine shows  a strongly perfumed compote of mixed black berry fruit with subtle undertones of Graphite, leading to a vibrant freshness on entry.

It has a huge flavor concentration that carries onto the plummy black forest cherries on the palate which are supported by a firm structure and long floral finish.

This wine spent 18 months in the barrel, 90% French Oak and 10% American Oak. Barrel selection was 70% new fill and 30% second Fill.
