This wine express freshness, bright red fruit an delicate plushness. Typical Merlot (94%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (6%) characteristics, however, lie at the core, here intense dark berries, bittersweet chocolate and pencil shavings abound.
Cold-soaking on skins for a few days before fermentation starts, ferments dry on skins and the matured in French Oak barrels.
A wine to savour on its own, the Thibault can also be enjoyed with roast beef and lamb, fillet steakwith a mushroom-based sauce and hearty beef, lamb or game casseroles.
