3D Secure

This is a 3D Secure website.

You will be asked when making your payment to confirm that you are the card owner by giving your 3D Secure Password (as set up with your bank).

If you have not yet set up a 3D Secure Password with your bank, you can still proceed with your payment by creating a password now. This password that you will create can now be used for all future online payments with any 3D Secure Website.

For any orders over R3000-00, we ask that you do not proceed to the payment page, but rather make the payment via EFT (please only accept EFT details from our registered email address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

For any order amount EFT’s are welcome.

What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure is a new initiative introduced by the banks of South Africa to protect both the card holder and the merchant from fraudulent payments.

When continuing to the payment page on our website, you will be asked to give your card details, and thenyou will be asked to confirm your 3D secure status.

The 3D Secure pop-up will ask for your 3D Secure password. You can either choose to set up your 3D secure password with your bank prior to purchasing online, or for your first 3D secure purchase online, you can create your own password which you will use every time that you make an online purchase with a 3D Secure Website.

To create your own password, you will be asked to provide your ID number as confirmation that you are the registered card holder and that this is not a stolen card.

If you choose not to confirm your 3D secure status, the transaction may not go through and we, as the merchant, will reserve the rights to either continue with the order or reverse the order.

Why use 3D Secure?

3D Secure allows the bank to check that you are the registered card holder and that your card details have not been stolen and used online. When we as the merchant receive a payment that is not 3D secure we reserve the right to reverse the order to protect ourselves and the card holder from fraud.

By using 3D secure you are confirming that you are, in fact, the card holder and by creating a 3D secure password for your card, you are protecting yourself from possible fraud in the future, with any 3D Secure Website.

Do I have to use the 3D secure function?

No you do not have to complete the 3D Secure information but you will then need to pay via EFT as the online card payment will not go through.
